Pre-season has barely begun and Cesc Fabregas is already delivering outrageous assists in Chelsea training.

The Spaniard struggled for playing time under Antonio Conte last term and started just 18 games in all competitions.

But the midfielder looks ready to force his way into the Italian’s plans if his early performances in pre-season training are anything to go by.

In one short clip posted by Fabregas on Instagram, the 30-year-old set up a goal with a superb backheel pass.

Unfortunately for Fabregas, he is set to face even more competition for a place in Chelsea’s midfield as the Premier League champions are on the brink of confirming a £40 million deal for Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Chelsea get their pre-season schedule under way against Arsenal in Beijing on July 22.
