Real Madrid are reportedly ready to make a ‘super offer’ to finally seal the transfer of Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe as they look set to sell Alvaro Morata to Chelsea.

The Spanish giants have been linked with Mbappe for much of the summer so far, with the 18-year-old showing himself to be one of the most exciting young talents in world football last season.

Arsenal have also been linked with the France international, who scored 26 goals in 44 games to fire Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and the semi-finals of the Champions League in a superb breakthrough season.

However, Mbappe’s rumoured price tag of around £120million or more surely puts him out of the Gunners’ price range, with Real now ready to step up their interest, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

After a protracted transfer saga, Morata finally looks set to seal a move away from the Bernabeu by joining Chelsea, with a move to Manchester United previously breaking down.

The Spain international’s proposed switch to Stamford Bridge is set to now be at an advanced stage, and while he wasn’t a regular in Zinedine Zidane’s side last season, he will need replacing up front.

Mbappe now looks set to be that man, though Monaco have publicly stated throughout the summer that the youngster won’t be sold.

Mbappe himself, meanwhile, has hinted he is mulling over his future, saying last week: ‘I’m going to go away with my family and we’ll think about what’s going to happen.

‘We have to sort it out, see what happens with the club too, because I’m under contract with the club. I’m not free. But we will see what happens.’

He was quizzed about his future again yesterday, saying: ‘I don’t know if I will stay.’

Despite long-standing interest from Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and other clubs, it has previously been reported that Real Madrid were the only club Mbappe was interested in joining.
