Chelsea won’t consider anything less than a world transfer record bid from Real Madrid to part with Eden Hazard this summer.

The Belgian is a target for Zinedine Zidane’s side and he’s stalling on signing a new deal to see if Madrid firm up their interest in him.

Chelsea are willing to make Hazard the highest paid player in the club’s history and getting the Belgian to put pen to paper on fresh terms is a priority for the board this summer.

However, the Blues are realistic about their chances of keeping Hazard and are fearful that the 27-year-old believes it is the right time to leave Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will not consider selling to a Premier League rival and want over £200m to part with Hazard if Real Madrid come calling, according to the Daily Mail.

Though Chelsea are reluctant to sell, any deal would have to surpass the £198m that Paris Saint-Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar.

That deal was made easier for the fact that Neymar’s fee was the Brazilian’s release clause at the Nou Camp and negotiations with Chelsea are likely to prove far tougher.
