Club America defeated the Jaguares 3-0 in Estadio Azteca. The goals by Matias Vuoso, Vicente Sanchez, and Enrique Esqueda were instrumental in this victory.

Matias Vuoso kicked towards the center of the goal post in 7 minutes. The opposing goalie was surprised and was unable to block the goal.

Vicente Sanchez scored the second goal after 68 minutes when he received a diagonal kick from Israel Martinez and kicked it into the center.

The third goal by Enrique Esqueda was the result of a pass from Vuoso, who then used his head to score the final goal in 90 minutes.

The game belonged to Club America secondary to the constant passing of the ball and direction of Vicente Sanchez and Daniel Montenegro, which blocked any attempts by Jaguares to dominate.

The other advantage was that Estadio Azteca is used by Club America for its games and its supporters were there to encourage their team.

Club America appears to have recovered from its last game against Manchester City by proving that they are still formidable in the Mexican League.
