Manchester City and Chelsea working overtime to poach 15-year old 'new Ronaldo' from Sporting Lisbon

Bruma

Target: Bruma

Manchester City and Chelsea are trying to persuade 15-year-old Portuguese sensation Bruma to snub Sporting Lisbon and move to England.

The winger - inevitably likened to Cristiano Ronaldo - cannot sign a professional contract until he turns 16 on Sunday.

Sporting expect him to stay on after bringing him through the ranks and would put a £17.6million release clause on the contract despite his young age.

However, City and Chelsea representatives are working hard to turn his head.

Bruma - full name Armindo Gangna - is tipped to be the next big thing after Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani’s emergence from Sporting.

He impressed playing alongside professionals more than three years his senior earlier this month, scoring twice in three Portugal Under 19 internationals.

City are said to be offering the teenager £220,000 just as a signing bonus, while a home, cars and work for his family would also be made available.

Tottenham were linked with Bruma in the summer, when Roman Pavlyuchenko was tipped to move in the opposite direction, but the Russia striker was not keen on the move.
