Didier Drogba will go down in history as one of Chelsea's greatest ever strikers. But with the persistent rumors that Drogba's time at the club may be up in the summer, Chelsea need to sign a replacement. Roman Abramovich has hinted at a major reshuffle in which old favorites like Drogba could be ousted to make way for fresh young talent.

A common criticism of Chelsea is that they possess an aging squad, and with Drogba, Anelka and Lampard reaching the twilight of their careers, it is imperative that Chelsea start to build for the future.

What better way to do so than to sign Athletico Madrid and Argentina's 22-year-old wonderkid, Sergio Kun Aguero!

Chelsea have made their bed with the £50 million signing of Torres and now they have to lie in it. Torres has so far been unable to forge an effective partnership with either Anelka or Drogba.

So why not bring in a player who has played with Torres before at Athletico Madrid and has a fantastic future ahead of him?

Aguero has been compared to Lionel Messi, and for the past four seasons has never failed to break the 20-goal barrier in all competitions. His mercurial dribbling ability, uncanny striker's instinct and his diminutive link-up play make him Athetico's most valuable asset. He has been deserving of a big money move for some time now.

Chelsea have already shown that they have intentions to build a long-term dynasty with the signings of Ramires (23) and David Luiz (22), and this would be the perfect way to complete the trio with the signing of a third South American superstar!
