Italian's agent claims striker will move in January

The agent of Juventus striker Amauri claims that he is set to move to England in January. The 31-year-old Italy international is out of favour at Juve, who paid over £20million for him three years ago and he was loaned out to Parma last season. He returned to the club this summer, but was not handed a squad number and has been told by Juve that he can leave for nothing in January. A number of Italian clubs such as Napoli, Genoa and former club Palermo were keen on landing him but he appears too expensive. That has now see him linked with a move to England, with Tottenham, Queens Park Rangers and Fulham all mooted as admirers. "Amauri is about to sign for an English club," Ernesto Bronzetti told Radio Kiss Kiss. "The salary of the Brazilian (born) striker is high and I don't think he can go to Napoli, even if they are a big club, or at Genoa and Palermo who want him. "He is not an ordinary player, he was paid 25million euros from Juve, he made his debut with the jersey of Italian national team, last season he has done great things in Parma. And AC Milan? I don't think they are interested in Amauri."
