EA having a monopoly on Star Wars is a disgrace.

The most hilarious thing, is that EA does not give 2 sh*ts about the fans who TRULY want a quality Star Wars Game. They got so many uninformed, casuals buying into their garbage microtransaction systems in stuff like Fifa, Madden, even Battlefront 2, they really could care less. At this point I wouldn't even be surprised if they cancelled Respawn's Star Wars game last minute. *Knock on wood*

EA & Activision need to die.

There should be a movement to boycott EA products. The star wars license could have went to a less wasteful publisher. They've short changed fans by wasting time and resources.

Typical EA couldn't milk the single player modes enough so they tried to call it a dead stlye of gameplay and pump out quick and easy multiplayer shooters with micro transactions to coincide with their cut and paste sports titles.

I try to remain balanced in my view, I recognise EA are a company and so want to maximise profit from their projects and I have also enjoyed some of their games in the recent past. However, it is becoming very difficult for me to ignore their behaviour and I am starting to think about boycotting their games, I realise it wont make a difference of course, but increasingly, I feel I don't want to support them.

I would imagine Disney cannot be happy with EA's mishandling of the license but then, Disney as are money grabbing as EA, so maybe not.

Thank goodness for Sony and Nintendo and the host of great indie devs out there.

EA's behavior has been consistent over the years, they are apathetic, lazy and unapologetically greedy and nasty with their practices, I have boycotted most EA games since 2008 when they released that trash of a Madden football game, I ceases supporting that yearly full time jack move on their part.

The ONLY games that I actually purchased from EA were Mass Effect (fucking screwed that up royally) and Dragon Age (EA WILL soon fuck that up as well)

I gotta say at this point, as terrible a gaming company as EA is, it doesn't say much about them for the folks who buy their games...however what it says about YOU the consumer speaks volumes...I would rather not get into name calling but YOU are part of the problem in that you approve (at the tacit level) of their practices and so that enables them to do the crap they do.

NO THANKS EA, I will spend my money elsewhere.

What Disney needs to do is hand the reins to single player star wars games to sony. guaranteed success.

Come on Mickey Mouse even you're smart enough to give the Star Wars license to someone else that won't screw up your franchise.

This was such a waste giving the license to EA they’ve literally made 2 Star Wars games both battlefronts. Like come on now you have something developers would kill for and your just wasteing it. Disney would have been better keeping the license in house with Lucas arts and just expanding the development team.

Give the Star Wars ip to Sony and you will have a one-month-wonder game with great cinematics, awesome graphics, great camera angles, and the press beyond it like it's the new paradigm for games, but also you will have old fashioned movement, old fashioned combat, old fashioned rpg elements and therefore almost ZERO replayability (that's why they come with that nonsense new game plus for all their games)... oh, and of course, no multiplayer. Dont' worry, they will
call it the best game ever made still and it will win goty too. So, if that's your main concern. go ahead.
