The Steam Library gets a redesign and the public beta is about to start soon. Valve has officially introduced the new design of the Steam library via a community announcement aimed at publishers and developers. The announcement basically shows them how to customize their game entries for the revised layout.
According to Valve: “The launch of Steam Deck will be delayed by two months. We’re sorry about this—we did our best to work around the global supply chain issues, but due to material shortages, components aren’t reaching our manufacturing facilities in time for us to meet our initial launch dates. Based on our updated build estimates, Steam Deck will start shipping to customers February 2022.”
Totally understandable given the current climate, but also a big blow for hype for sure. I would not be surprised if there was a further delay down the road, given how unpredictable assembly lines are at the moment.
Literally what I just said out loud lmao. Mine was Q1 it said already. But this just makes it perfect for me if the earliest is Feb, mine will probably be April or later which is outside all the releases I care about

Why do people always say "current climate"? What are the origins of this highly corporate statement?
And some people dont want to see the truth and are brainwashed and think there is nothing wrong with the climate and dont want to see al the signs that indicate that there is defenitly a change in the climate worldwide.
by listening to others is not truth, seeing for yourself is truth. But people are used to so called television and media oh yeah and government but not with their own eyes ever! That's a hard fact. Ice melt, and you all believe it. Volcanoe hit and you all believe it, this has happened even in the Bible so what climate change for 10, 000 years?
That's a bummer, but only 2 months, and understandable given how unpredictable HW is right now.

Sure, you can drop the occasional dollar on Humble Bundle or Fanatical. Or keep an eye on IsThereAnyDeal like your life depended on it. But, there are hundreds of games up on steam (and other sites) free to play. The best things (games) in life are free. It’s one of the best four letter word that just brings joy to our hearts, does it not?

It's cool but I'm mostly interested in Universal Launchers and full intergration with all platforms steam, epic, Microsoft, Uplay etc I often forget I own games. I forgot I owner rise of the tomb raider on the Microsoft store.
