Wow this website has no backbone

When did PlayStation leave? Sony Interactive Entertainment already went to CES, GDC & PAX. Do those conferences not matter because Sony wasn’t at E3?

Now less than a week after making such a ludicrous article this website is making a rebuttal article to cover its ass

We're now grading consoles by their gestures instead of their actual output. . . . .

This whole 'wins e3' has severely diluted the importance of the 'prove' part of the 'show and prove' notion.

This e3 was way more beneficial to Sony and Nintendo than Microsoft. There's no perfect formula. If Sony would of shown the same game's as last year people would have something to say. Guess what, they stayed away and still got shine. . . Go figure

No, I think it’s comments like this that are telling with respect to who actual read the article.
If I remember correctly, Sony has skipped three events thus far. This “rubbish” article provided some concrete framework for what to expect in the near future.

They skipped E3 and didn't have a PSX in 2018, where they literally said they had nothing to show. Theyve typically only done E3, TGS Paris Games week and PSX while having small presence in PAX and Gamescom due to them focusing big on the other events...

They'll show whatever they need to show when they are good and ready. They arent back from anything. They started the conversation of Next Gen talk, they still managed to have blockbuster around E3 without actually being there and they still have a next gen platform to fully unveil, still have PS4 heavy hitting games to announce the release date to, and they still have PS4 exclusive's launching this year both first and 3rd party...

quiet down, you're making a mountain out of an ant hill. Bosses move in silence, their results make the noise.

Funny thing about E3 was, MS didn&t even win E3 2019. Sony stayed at home and watched MS screwed themselves up LOL!

Last time games releases such as Dragon Qiest Builder 2 which played the best on PS4 got 9s. Every FFVIII fans are excited for the remaster and mostly are on PS4 as always for the series. VII remake will mostly sell on PS4 looking in history it been always a 3:1 or 4:1 when comes to sales comparing to Xbox. (Except XIII was 2:1 in favour of sony, because that was the first offline FF to release on the Box brand and xbox 360 was genuinely supported by americans and media back then.)

Not really.

PS4 has been successful since day one and this is the first time they've skipped it. Now if Sony skips every E3 hereafter and PS5 does very well, you'd have a point.

Sony never tried to diminish the importance of E3, they just did not think they had enough meaningful things to announce.
We already know about TLOU2, DEATH STRANDING, GHOST OF TSUSHIMA, FF7 REMAKE, DREAMS.... ETC.
Playstation presence through third party conferences was still very much felt at this E3.

Tbf I do think this is a big part of Sony’s plan. Games “journalists” are so predictable. They knew they would get all of these PlayStation is back! Articles when they started making big reveals again. It’s a great plan really because they haven’t gone anywhere, just given us the illusion they have. I mean we still are waiting on the same big games to come out so nothings changed, just journalists haven’t been able to report on them for a while so they start having a shitfit. Then when they can start reporting on Sony again it’s all OMG Sony is back!!!! 😂🙄

Ps4 owns this gen in a way how PS2 own it gen.

Switch is like the Wii benefiting releasing too late to get sales and not competing in the market against Sony.

Xbox One is just a shadow of 360 success but it is actually exist as the OG Xbox.

Don't you dare compare the fantastic and under appreciated Sega Saturn to the Xbox One.
If you've bothered to research all the high quality exclusives it had (many unfortunately stuck in Japan) you would understand that the Saturn and Xbox One are worlds apart in terms of quality games to play.
