Didn't even take three full years to beat it wow, that's amazing. The Switch is not stopping anytime soon, now it's time for even more developers/publishers to support the platform because try explaining to higher-ups how ignoring the second best selling console is good for business (and given what ports have come onto the system lately, the excuse of "it can't run on the Switch" is out the window)

Well done to Nintendo for proving yet again that if your games and product clicks with gamers then we will support. However, I want to see Nintendo with their innovation back in the powerful console game also.

I think Microsoft lost huge market share this generation and they won’t recover. No matter how many developers they purchase. Other then Obsidian I don’t put much stock into these newly purchased studios.

Congratulations to Nintendo, I’m glad they worked and stuck with the Hybrid system. It distinguishes itself from the others. PS4 and Switch offer so much fantastic content it’s a perfect duo to own.

Though I like the Switch console for it being a hybrid console but I'm just not attracted to most of it's exclusive software though that's not going to keep me from commending the Switch for being a success. Congratulations Nintendo on that feat.

If xbox releases their next console cheaper than ps5 i have no doubt they will get a nice portion of ps 5's market share. Now with switch ill say it a million times that if the switch were a dedicated home console like ps4 and xbox one it would be selling at wii u's pace, switch is not in the same league as xbox or playstation, they lost that when wii u flopped hard and forced nintendo to go HANDHELD.

I consider switch the successor to the ds, good job none the less selling 45 million potables.

Xbox one has outsold Wii U by a bigger margin I'm sure.

In 2 and a half years the switch has sold nearly 50 million which means in 7 and a half years it would have sold 150 million (assuming that the rate doesn't change). That is an incredible achievement since most generations are around 7 years, it's PS2 numbers and i thought that would be a one off.

The Switch is the most fun device out there to game on!

People keep treating such system types as regular consoles. They are a hybrid of console and handheld unit. Actually expected much more from Switch... but it is still statistically proving to be a heavy player in the game market.and had it released near 4 years earlier with the other consoles I picture it likely taking even a bigger percentage of the market due its hybrid build.

The switch is on track to be Nintendo’s most successful console and unlike the Wii I’m loving it.

Lots of casual games who aren't bothered about crappy looking or poor running games.. go figure

I thought I saw that the XB1 was at 50mill. Nevertheless, great news for Nintendo. I picked up a Switch a month ago for the few Nintendo games I like. MS does not have the worldwide appeal that the portable has so this should come at no surprise to anyone. Xbox1X is my number 1 console but this is great news for the gaming industry, and this is great for all gamers, us multiconsole gamers included.

No one knows how many consoles Xbox has sold because they stopped reporting their numbers years ago.
