@tully601 I've not heard something so dumb in a long time, people hate or like google for different reasons, mainly that their "free" products sell your data and make money off of you that way so everything comes at a cost. I don't like them when they do that or when they gobble up better services, then kill them off and they goto the google graveyard. And I have no idea what this has to do with right leaning politics, but I guess that follows along with all the other nonsense you said.

No, they really aren’t. Spreading influence is why you run a business. The how depends on nothing but legal boundaries. For google or any other corporation.

I never said they were evil, I said they were trash lol. For one I think their growth is alarming, not a benefit to a healthy society or world from a sovereignty standpoint. I think their acquisitions of smaller companies have ruined those companies and great ideas. They squash out or buy ideas like any other corporation.

The political bias doesn’t help them on a legislation and lobbying level either. But I guess that just depends on your personally politics. I don’t trust any corporation in our legislation period lol. I’m not anti-corporation, I’m free market but the refs should remain neutral. You dismiss their corporate/lobby status because they do it “for the right reasons” and that’s fine. It doesn’t make you right though. You’re just complicit with and influence that suits your needs. Email, politics or whatever else. One of the richest companies in the world giving away a minuscule amount of its profits doesn’t impress me. I’m sure many smaller organizations give a much larger percent of their profits away to charity. It’s not as much but it certainly means more in the moralistic view you are taking.

I know enough to not support them in any way I can which is becoming extremely difficult. My Sony tv runs on android, my fire stick etc. it’s not because there wouldn’t be any other operating systems around. It’s all about influence, that’s why you run a business. I want there to be options, that’s my beef with google and all the other corporations like Disney that want to devour innovation. I feel the same way about overpowered central governments as well. That’s true totalitarianism and authoritarianism.

Yeah google is great compared to the people digging up blood diamonds lol. They do it for profit like anyone else. Do you think grocery stores don’t profit on “buy one get one free” deals? They are basically giving it away right? For the good of the people.

I’m not saying google is evil, I don’t blanket hate corporations and capitalism. It’s how they do it that makes them trash. I appreciate them starting the google search, now there are other search engines, and free email, and translate. I don’t want them in every device or app I own. Just like I don’t want Disney in charge of every franchise I like.

His posts were not removed his account was banned. And that's because he was previously banned from this site. Previously banned users are not allowed to return.

I have been keeping track of them so I have a pretty good idea on which users were banned before.

Agreed. They are the very definition of a "money means we rule mankind" evil company. The fact that they believe its their right to influence the upcoming US election is proof of this.

I would never buy a Switch because Nintendo is trash. There are people like me out there.
