They still managed to get through though, and are right beside Barca in La Liga, who by all accounts are playing really well at the moment. Except that unexpected loss to Malaga, were they didn't play badly. Malaga just defended superbly. Great showing by Schalke all the same.
People who think the Premier League has the best teams in Europe are deluded, I've always said that. It is one of the most exciting leagues though, largely because the top teams screw up more often than top teams in other leagues. Also, you can always have a laugh at Arsenal.
Bullshit. They have a good attacking line up already. I'd rather get in a manager who will get the most out of Falcao, RvP, Rooney and Di Maria. They are more than capable.

I couldn't believe how well Arsenal shut them out. Why can't they do that all the time away to big teams instead of having to much pride and end up getting whooped.

@RGB, honestly what is your crusade about? I never see people calling it the best league anymore. I did years ago, but not anymore. Entertainment-wise though it is the best due to teams like Real, Barca, PSG, Bayern, etc. having a complete strangle hold on their leagues; Atletico last year was a very rare exception, which was great.
