@windblowsagain. 279 goals and 117 assists (3rd highest for Man United behind Denis Law and Bobby Charlton). 43 goals (out of 99 starts) and 17 assists for England. Yet according to you he must be dropped from England and United. Im sure glad you not England or Man United manager.

Why is the World Cup in Russia then??

B-b-b but Man City and Chelsea are supposed to batter teams every week. I dont understand. What is this madness. It cant be football.

3464d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

No. Chelsea got stupid. Ivanovic already on a yellow goes and trips a United player. Gets sent off and then they concede because Ivanovic was tasked by Mourinho to mark Fellaini at set pieces from which Fellaini forces a save from Curtois and Van Persie happily slots away.
Complete and utter boneheaded decision to foul a player in an attacking position and you're already on a yellow.

It is a fair result. Today both teams done enough to deserve a point.
True @ Van Persie. Had he slot his goal in the first half and Di Maria taken his chance on the volley when he found himself unmarked in the box, it may have been a different game but credit to Chelsea. They played to win and not park a greyhound coach or two.

united defense exposed once again.
city and chelsea are going to have a party coming up against this.

I have a feeling Utd are going to get destroyed by Chelsea. I reckon Mourinho will be out of blood here because Chelsea have been blowing teams away recently. Why not add Utd to the list?

Wait a minute. I thought United were supposed to get smashed by Chelsea because "weak defence" &q...

@RGB:
I don't know why you have 2 disagrees. Barcelona over the years have always had their midfield mask their average defence.

@asmith2306:
"If Messi had of slotted home"
But Messi didn't slot home. You can "if" all day. Point is Barca didn't take their chances. Madrid did and they had a boatload more chances than Barca. Madrid were scathing on the counter attack at times, so much so that you could pretty much have them ...

I told my mate last season European clubs will easily expose Liverpool now that Suarez is not there anymore and their faliure to patch up their defence with quality signings. Not to mention their inability to properly replace Suarez with quality.

Brendon Rodgers: "qualifying for the Champions League is attracting players to Anfield"
Goes and buys Ricki Lambert, Markovic and Adam Lallana.

Balotelli a gamble? Mourinho, Mancini and other big club managers couldn't work with him. How is Brendon Rodgers supposed to get anything out of him?
I love how Balotelli is all of a sudden a gamble when he couldn't hack it at other big clubs.

Suarez proved he carried this Liverpool side. Championship winning teams can still perform when one of their star players is missing. That much can't be said for Liverpool. No excuses here. If you want to compete wit...

@neoragex:
This article is about the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid. I fail to see the relevance to Man United fans here.
But one thing is sure, there are more opposition fans obsessed with Man United than their own supporters.
What a strange world we live in.

Your comment is worth a laugh. How long ago was MK Dons? I was expecting a well thought out rebuttal but you disappointed me.
If you're going to state United is the laughing stock of the PL, please bring forward valid "reasons" why, instead of an isolated incident such as the MK Dons loss.

Liverpool must be shit too, they lost to Oldham in the same competition last season, with many more first team players than United had against MK Dons.
I rat...

Man United, 6th on the table, 5 points behind 2nd placed Man City with only 8 games played. You may want to re-evaluate your understanding of the term laughing stock.

I agree.

Slamming Man United for everything under the sun is pretty much the trend now from the media and opposition fans alike.

It's cool to hate a club undergoing a massive rebuilding phase.

And yes opposition fans can't wait to take a dig nowadays. United's recent domination in the English league has made some fans bitter.

Loving the hate. They will be silenced in due time.

"What's the point in paying a transfer record fee for a winger and playing him in the centre? The downfall continues"

A quick google search (i assume you have access to internet) will show that Di Maria was used in centre midfield when playing at Madrid for the past 2 seasons.
It is his best position.
Educate yourself before making assanine comments.

Welbeck to Arsenal. Hernandez to Real Madrid.

2 Strikers leaving the club.

Do you really need to ask why United acquired Falcao??

@asmith2306
What's the point of commenting when you don't know what you're talking about.

Di Maria played in centre midfield alongside Modric for Madrid with Alonso anchoring the Madrid midfield. Centre midfield is his best position as his stats indicate. Highest assist in europe past season and 3rd overall for the past few years behind Messi and Ozil.

The only downfall you talking about is people wanting United to fail, people like you. ...

Transition periods are never easy. Just ask Liverpool who got dumped out of the FA Cup by League One side Oldham Athletic 3 - 2 in Brendon Rodgers first season in charge of the club. They fielded 1st team players that match.
Took Liverpool 2 years to see top 4 in the league.
Van Gaal will take his time. The club is under a massive restructuring.
Rome was not built in a day.

@KingPin: LMAO. I said it before. Liverpool sold a troublemaker (Suarez) and signed another troublemaker (Balotelli). If Jose Mourinho has to devote 14 mins of his 15 mins half time team talk ONLY to one player (Balotelli) pleading Mario not to do anything rash as he is already on a yellow card and still Balotelli gets himself sent off. WOW LOL. Good luck Liverpool

Its that bad over there huh? Had no idea. But seriously, how can they not have a system in place to deal with thuggery in football. This incident here is a nothing compared to the headbutt Brandao dished on Motta and yet that incident is yet to be resolved.
Crazy.

Lol, what the hell??

Six months for that?

Brandao headbutted Motta in the face breaking Mott's nose and they still debating it whereas this clown gets six months for that??

WOW
