As a Madrid fan, I'd say Juve look more solid and capable of winning the final.

As the article highlights, Spain's dominance of European Football has been huge in the last 5 seasons, heck, the last 15. In the last 5 seasons, 15 out of 17 La Liga teams have progressed to the last 8 of the Champions League, only Malaga & Sevilla failed to get through. Only 4 have for the Premier League. The Premier League has actually gone back in the last 5 seasons, massively backward whilst France and Italy have improved.

6 Champions League titles in last 11 se...

As a neutral, it is a shame but it's a results game and LCFC were out of the cups, no doubt out the Champions League (Sevilla will score at King Power) and relegation was totally on the cards with their form.

With all the coin Arsenal have, you'd think in such a crisis they'd actually spend some bloody money... Nope, Wenger doesn't want to do that.

The game was very tense throughout, no surprise when you think about it. Atleti has a great recent record against Madrid whilst playing the way they do and Zidane has changed the team's tactics since his 1st El Derby. It wasn't going to be a classic or a goal spectacle.

Half of Real's stars had a top game and the other half having shockers. Atleti won the 2nd half but didn't make enough of it in the end. Real obviously had the 1st half and I'd give the b...

Absolute nonsense, Howard Webb agreed with every decision made, stop being a sore loser. The fact is, Liverpool dominated the 1st half from about 10 minutes in till the half time whistle. They failed to make anything of that dominance. If you have so much ball control, you better create chances upon chances.

Unai Emery is a genius, for how bad Sevilla were in the 1st 45, they were a completely different side in the 2nd 45 and starting it without any changes too, cements tha...

As a Madrid supporter, I couldn't agree more. Barca are better, maybe even better than the 2009/2011 days. Scary time for Real, especially if CR7 goes in the summer.

Shambolic from top to bottom, Madrid never turned up. Even Carvajal & Isco who looked promising coming on, turned sour fast.

Rafa may have Madrid in his DNA / Makeup but he isn't at the quality Real Madrid need, Carlo shouldn't have gone.

I'm sure they see the difference in the Champions League titles too.

Hasn't it always the case, well at least since 2011. Only Valencia didn't get something from the Spanish sides and Mönchengladbach with Germany.

Don't know what's worse, Madrid missing out on him or United losing out on £29 million.

De Gea is the real loser here though, doubt he'll be played much and not on the bumper contract Madrid was offering him.

My thoughts exactly, they'll either just get out of the group (which I doubt) or get embarrassed in the round of 16 as always.

Germany won't win, the players gone can't be replaced nor can the newbies coming in for the subs.

Should be the most interesting Euro since 2004.

Turning point was Pogba/Alves tussle in the box for me. All in all though, Congrats to Barça they deserved it.

And again, Spain have won the lot, yet again!

Congrats to Juve but I expect Barcelona to walk the final and lift their 5th European title.

Only 736 days ago, people on this site were writing La Liga as done, finished. Barca cruising into the final and Real sitting in a decent position going home with an away goal.

Sevilla seems the favourites in Europa League too after last night's showing.

Could La Liga have 2 Spanish Champions League finals in a row?!

Arsenal isn't good enough to be Champions League holders. If The Invincibles couldn't do it, no Arsenal team will do it. Premier League is the pinnacle for them.

The only things Messi has over Ronaldo are; assists, ball control and technique.
Ronaldo is better at; Headers, Freekicks, Penalties, long-range goals, physicality and the less relevant stuff like tricks.

Ronaldo scored more goals (by 10) & created more goals (by 1) last campaign than Messi.
This season Ronaldo has 4 more goals and played 1 game less as it stands. However, Messi has 6 more assists thus far.

Mourinho is full of mistakes, look at his time at Madrid, look at what has been achieved since he left.

Hart literally kept this game from being the most one-sided game between these 2 leagues ever, 11/10 performance! Without his performance, Barca could have won 10-0 without the 3 attempts that hit the woodwork. Utterly 1 sided and even Aguero couldn't capitalise with the penalty.

3 La Liga teams progress out of 3, 0 out of 3 for Premier League and only 1 out of 4 with Bayern for Bundesliga.

I remember people writing off La Liga after 7-0 Bayern/Barca and ...
