Thanks. I dont get the EPL channels. Im sort of a Madrid fan. As much as i love Casillas and hate to see him go on a bad note, we really need someone thats on top of hos game in the goal. Although i believe part of whats happening to cassillas is those fans that jeer and boo our players when they fail. Really damaging i think.
How good is he?
Does Pirlo play w/out tiring for the whole game, or do they usually substitute him out?
Couldnt agree more
You are entitled to your opinion except for a couple of facts:
1. Ramos didnt play in CDM position against barca, as this was the first time he was in that position because of the recent injuries.
2. Ramos was the man of the match against Atletico.
3. If Atletico played park the bus because they wanted penalties, then they wouldnt have played the same way in the first leg, but they couldnt attack in that game either which is not consistent with your theory.
because this is how they have been winning against real. They wait for counter attack. The only difference this time was that Real switched to a more defensive posture. they played a 4/4/2 and had an extra defender in the middle (ramos) It wasn't so much that atletico "didn't" counter, it was more that they "couldn't" counter. Remember what Ancelotti said before the game. "we are in no hurry to score either". In other words Atleti always "parks t...
I wonder how it would work out in Madrid. Rumor is that Casillas is not fond of De Gea. And Real has stated that then don't want to let Casillas go. Sooo... Ready, Fight!
I think they said something like, it was the quickest hat trick in history (w/in 8 minutes) of La Liga. It was against a relatively weak team though, but thats not to take anything away from Ronaldo. He is amazing.
Honorable mention, Bale was great. I never doubted him like some people.
@windblowsagain
Never belive pictures when it comes to these types of things. If there was a video i would believe it, but there are a lot of VERY passionate fans out there. Its extremely easy to tamper with a picture with photoshop. In this case all you have to do is digitally cut the picture in half where the goalie and the goal lines are, then angle it so the players become offside, then just copy paste the missing grass from elsewhere in the picture to fill in the missing grass se...
Yup. Its real life go look up the rules. Its there. Ronaldo was not offside. That goal would have been counted 8/10 times. The remaining two times would be due to referee's trigger finger in rajsing the flag. Even the announcer on BeIN sport said "bad call". How much more real does it need to get?
They were saying Ronaldo was offside BUT, the goal should have counted.
The rule of FIFA is: if its too close to call then its not an offside.
Robaldo was kept on by the other barca defender standing next to Bale. That goal would have changed the whole dynamic of the match i believe.
must be nice. Kind of a jerk move no? but i guess they get tired of the attention too.
I agree but its more than that, they also dont attack or defend like they used to
What the heck is happening to them?
I don't think Liverpool or Arsenal have the funds. ManU maybe. But Bayer will not let him go to easily. They know what they have in him, and they know he is exceptionally good against Real Madrid. If bayern wants to get CL glory, they may be inclined to pay a good penny to keep the guy in Munich.
wouldn't that be the price of Ronaldo alone?
Hope he turns out good for the team
He is being ruined at barcelona i think. He needs to get out fast.
@Enzo
I have to agree with you.
Why are they putting this guy on the bench recently??
