Exactly, its funny most of the comments here seem to focus on bayern somehow being their own downfall, forgetting that Madrid is a tiugh team to beat. In all honesty Real should have been the leader of La Liga had it not been for tge horrendous ref job in the barca game that pretty much decided the game for the players. Defending is an art and real did a great job last night. To be fair bayern had some great moments as well.

Hala madrid!!! Woow what a goal

If Real wasn't in such a bad mental state because of the barca game, I would have said it would be between Real and Bayern this year

there would be no rules ignored if the ref refrained from giving a red card. You are right about Madrid being the more physical team, but you assume that not to be strict is somehow unfair. Physical toughness is just as much a part of the game as technique. (we don't really know who is "whining" now do we? so lets not assume things) The "clear" penalties you speak of, happen all the time and often no penalty is given for them. I urge you to watch the Iniesta penalty. T...

Im sorry but I really disagree with you there. This was a CLASSICO. The ref should not have made decisive decisions that pretty much dictated the result of the game. It was an amazing game up until the point when he gave an unnecessary red card. Even in a less intense game the red card would have been uncalled for. I actually thought that Ramos already had a yellow and was red carded because the ref game him another yellow. (even that would have been too harsh). the penalty, which I really ca...

hahaha IBRA amazes himself. love it.
seriously though, I would say he is just as good as Christiano Ronaldo. Although slightly different kind of player. Together they are the best players in my opinion.

Oh man, this guy must be upset that Real is doing so good without him. In other news Chelsea tied with Galatasaray (; i wonder if he is just trying to draw attention away from that fact

Wow i feel bad for United
Amazing the difference a manager can have

That doesnt take away from the fact that he was the greatest of his time. It wouldnt be fair to compare him to today's players. By that logic we shouldnt care about todays greatest players either because the next generation will be better than them...

That is honest truth in that comment. As much as i dont like either ones character

Ronaldo was out of line but he didnt start it. It may be too harsh a punishment in hindsight

3728d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

yeah blaming Real Madrid is a good strategy to garner support.

now that Ronaldo is on a roll and messi is not, there seems to be a lot of bad press coming from people who have no business dissing him. I don't particularly like Ronaldo's character, and don't like that he is not a team player. But the fact remains, he is one hell of a soccer player and its not fair that people are taking shots at him for no reason.

I think they know a bit more about what is good for them than you guys do. I think Madrid needed an overhaul in their playing style and they can do that w bale.
