Its in the context of sports which is still very 'macho.' Plus gay liberation movements did not win their struggle by simply being meek and quiet. They had to be loud and assert their sexuality. Many retired athletes who have come out pretty much share the same sentiment, that they never felt comfortable sharing who they are in such an environment. Encouraging acts like this helps other people who are gay to be comfortable with themselves, since sometimes it can feel the world is rath...

I think the writing was on the wall well before the first match of the season. Hart knew Bravo was brought to become the number one. Being benched the first match was confirmation of this. Yes I'm sure he could have stayed and fought for the number one, but Pep isn't really known for experimenting with keepers and had Hart decided to stay I'd argue it would have been detrimental to his career.

Ok its done. Scoring starts at week 2.

Hmmm only three people are in the league at the moment. I have the ability to start the 'scoring' at week 2. This could give us an opportunity to add more people.

Regardless of the horrible missed calls from the officials, Liverpool still went into the second half ahead it was their game to lose. As for the quality of La Liga clubs prior to this year the last 40 times La Liga teams have played EPL teams in the Champions, Europa and Supercup La Liga has 20 wins against 11 losses and 9 draws. The last 13 knockout situations La Liga is 12-1 v EPL sides with the non "Big 2" being 6-0. Since 09 La Liga has 13 International Trophies from 4 differe...

LFC will feel robbed after all those calls for a handball in the first half, but Sevilla owned the second. This victory cements Sevilla's dominance in this competition bravo to them and overall another top year for La Liga Clubs. Currently 25 points ahead of the Bundesliga coefficient wise, three years in a row of Liga Liga winning both the Europa and Champions League, the best league in the world without a doubt!

You know whats funny every pundit / bobble head that wrote him off as a manager from the get go. Ignoring his past success, and what he had recently done as a manager with Monaco.

Now of course nobody imagined they would succeed in this fashion but I had the mind that he would make a mid table club out of them. Even if they do not win the league, Ranieri deserves the BallonDOr for managers next year, without a doubt. Lets just see if they will be able to keep the core of t...

Of course he wouldn't back fan representation he's only pretending to care. The model that makes everyone happy is the Bundesliga model imho. It will never be adopted in England because in England clubs are seen purely as a cash revenue generator. There is no consideration for the fans.

The violence in Argentina football is unparalleled. There has been more than 70 killings related to hooliganism since 2000. Not to mention the countless beatings, and small scale riots that occur between fans and police, fans and fans, and players vs players.

All of this obviously has crippled many of the prominent teams in the country. Parents dont want their children coming up in a system that walks side by side with such mayhem. When the opportunity comes via a European c...
