Anybody would be welcomed to the club really as they are going to be hard pressed now to find a quality manager with the owner chopping and changing every season. Most managers won't want the job no matter what the pay as Chelsea can truly ruin your career.

If Chelsea sell then they are showing they got there priority's wrong. Right now he is probably there best striker. Torres isn't looking like he's getting any better and Anelka isn't as good as Drogba. If they are desperate to sell off one of there strikers sell Anelka.

Arsenal aren't really stopping him it's just nobody will pony up the cash which Arsenal value him at. I don't get why anybody would want him anyway he's too injury prone. Don't get me wrong he's a great player but that injury prone is a big problem.

If Kenny signs him he must be good?? Your saying its impossible for him to make a bad signing?? Your in for a rough landing mate as managers make mistakes in signings even the best.

West Ham deserve it as they cannot afford a new stadium where as Spurs can and have planning to do so for years.

There was no real injury though I though Rooney admitted this?? So why sign him upto a 1/4 million a week then let him go on holiday? It makes NO SENSE.. No wonder the clubs in massive debt.. Obviously like throwing money away.. Either that or they don't wanna risk him as they plan to sell in Jan and the new contract was to purely get his value up.

They probably didn't know who he was and I guess it wasn't even anything to do with football but the papers found out they supported spurs and this story was made. Terrible media at it's best. So as for banning from stadiums you think anybody with a conviction should be banned?? I don't know but that's a dark road to go down. But I seriously doubt they knew it was JTs dad.

Why didn't Tevez make the list??

It's funny all the red saying players come to City and Chelsea for money yet they are having the same problems. Irony I think the word is here.

David Beckham knows this all so well..

Hmm it's gonna be a good season on paper Manchester City are just as strong as Chelsea but thanks to 2 of our players who have not even kicked a ball this season (Kolarov and Ballotelli) and the fact the need to get used to playing together it's gonna be a tough season for us to come top.

It will be a huge blow for morale more than on the pitch if he leaves as the fans love him. He is there only talisman player after Ronaldo left. It's a sign of the times.

Without a doubt I agree he is bigging up his own player nothing more but he picked the wrong player to compare him to. Unless he meant Drogba with a broken leg?

Losing at home to West Brom.. It's all down hill from here I'm afraid. It's not just a one off for them either and not even Rooney coming on could save them he was useless as they showed on match of the day. He needs to be dropped for a long time to get his head in gear.

I think so he he needs to prove it.. So far he isn't getting the best out of the big names. Something he has never had to do at teams like Fulham and it might be too much for him. Couldn't see Rafa losing this much with the same squad..

City are looking there or there about they will give them a push but I think Chelsea will win it in the end your right about that. I think your over emphasising easily though it's gonna be close. As they had an easy start to the season until they met City and people seem to forget that.

Agreed I know any owner would love to have him but getting him is another question this isn't like the Ronaldo saga Messi is happy where he is so no amount of money is gonna upset him for a move only that 250million release clause is gonna get him to talk.

With this owner?? If he manages to do it, it will be a while as although he does have money he isn't a billionaire and the fact he has the red sox to fund to means he can't pump limitless amounts of cash into the club. At least they are stable for now. I think we learned though American owners in the premiership don't work and I honestly think this one will be no differn't. Everybody though Gillett and Hicks were gonna be great for the club and bring great things. They too pro...

Agreed if it's not City being linked at silly prices its chelsea. Just because they have the money they get linked to our teams it's a joke really. Journalists have nothing to write about while the windows closed so they have to make stuff up.

C.Ronaldos form has dropped a lot since joining R.Madrid and he isn't one of the best in the world any more though he is still up there. Talking about top 10 though Tevez has gotta be in their his workrate and skill alone makes him one of the best in the world there isnt another player like him. As for Berbatov don't make me laugh Karim he scores in 2 matches and he's a world beater again?? Don't be fooled by the press he still will struggle to make top 10 goalscorers this yea...
