We make stars for City... not England: Home-grown talent is not a priority, says Marwood

translated...

we dont give a F&*k about english players.

this is why england as a team suffer. a couple of big teams look to local talent. whats the ratio in the english league of local to foreign, 30:70? look at other leagues in europe, spanish, Italian, german...they are like 80 local 20 foreign, look at their national squads, top class.

look at the english team of the nineties/early 2000s. when manchester united, liverpool, arsenal, chelsea all had local players, that england team showed some promise. now, theres not much hope.

perfect example, if germany needs player for a specific position, they have 6-7 options to choose from. england needs a goalie, they have 1 option. realistically speaking.
