Debnath was a rock at the back of a tentative Mohun Bagan defense. Even though Jeje Lalpekhlua scored a tremendous equalising goal and Debjit Majumder read the game ever so well, the Mohun Bagan defender made at least three match saving tackles in the first half itself where he was the final shield in front of the custodian.
