Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has admitted that thoughts of retiring from international football did cross his mind in the wake of England's awful showing in South Africa this summer.
Dont think it means anything. All players can be fed up after a long season and bad results. Then, after a break, the motivation is refreshed and new. If Gerrard is good enough in 2014 is another question. Depends more on injuries than motivation I presume.
