The English Football Association have announced Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong will not face any further action following his tackle on Newcastle United’s Hatem Ben Arfa.
Newcastle had written to the FA demanding that action be taken against the Dutchman after Ben Arfa's leg was broken in two places, an injury which will see the on-loan Marseille man spend around six months on the sidelines.
