Robert Pires is heading back to the Premier League after agreeing a short-term deal with Aston Villa.
The former Arsenal midfielder has accepted a six-month contract which will make him Villa manager Gerard Houllier's first signing when finalised.
The 37-year-old has been a free agent since his release by Villarreal in the summer and has been training with Arsenal for the past two months.
What is Houllier thinking? He should continue using young players, not picking up a almost 40 years old ex-star. Pires was good, now he belongs to the past!
The newt Houllier will sign is Cantona:-)
