Quique Sanchez Flores' men ended Atletico Madrid's awful record away to Real Sociedad with win in a thirlling game which saw six goals. Joseba Llorente struck in the first half and had a great chance to complete his brace before half-time, but failed to so. A Forlan strike and a double salvo from Aguero put the visitors in the driving seat, before Diego Rivas's goal in the waning minutes of the match gave some hope to the hosts. Simao finished la Real off with a penalty in injury time and the game finished 2-4.
