Mallorca will consider selling one of their prized assets, Gonzalo Castro, in the January transfer window to avoid him leaving the club for free under the Bosman ruling.
Castro’s contract at the Iberostar Stadium does not expire until the summer of 2012, but the club are aware of not receiving any compensation for the loss of their influential Uruguayan, who has been excellent form his season as the Islanders challenge the top six in La Liga.
