AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that Ronaldinho will indeed be leaving the club in January, after a meeting with the player's brother and agent Roberto De Assis.
The 30-year-old has been linked with an exit in recent weeks, with many feeling the writing was on the wall after limited appearances this season under coach Massimiliano Allegri and the acquisition of Antonio Cassano from Sampdoria.
