Nani: Season could be special
Football seasons don't come much better than Nani's first at United - 2007/08 - but the winger is beginning to wonder if 2010/11 could top it.
The Portuguese international made a significant impact on his return from injury on Tuesday night, creating the inspired opening goal by Chicharito and then restoring the Reds' lead decisively with a trademark screamer past Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic in the second half. With United still unbeaten in the league and involved in two cup competitions, the opportunities ahead excite Nani.
"We just need to keep working hard together as a team. If we do that, we can finish the season with something very special," the match-winner told MUTV.
