English football’s two Red rivals, Liverpool and Manchester United, are set to go head to head in an attempt to nab Borussia Dortmund star Shinji Kagawa.

It is reported this morning that Kenny Dalglish had him watched while he was on duty with Japan in a recent international, but with a contract running until mid-2013, it is expected to cost in the region of £20million to prise him away from the German champions.
