Beating Spain with England's B team is a great acheivement nonetheless. Yes Spain dominated but I was really impressed with the defence tonight and I'm sure England would have created more chances if their big players were playing (Rooney, Gerrard, Young,etc...)
I'm not gonna jump on the whole 'we gonna win the Euro's' bandwagon but lets take it 1 step at a time and show some support.
Imagine if he breaks his jaw, I wonder what his mask will look like then.
"(Pep) was staring at me and I lost it. I thought "there is my enemy, scratching his bald head". I yelled to him: "You have no balls!"
LMFAO!!! Yeah I'm buying his book.
We already signed him, hes called Phil Jones and he's been outstanding so far.
That was awful, there were times where I hoped Galati would equalise just so United could show some urgency.
If he keeps it up, who knows he might end up like Pep Guardiola.
I would defintley love to see him return to Man Utd.
Rooney is one of those people that shouldn't be allowed to have a twitter account.
@Gamer1982
Again with this conversation?
How many times do I have to say that the way United have bought their players is nothing like the way City and Chelsea have done it.
And anyway Ronaldo, Vidic and Van Der Saar were bought cheap, infact the most expensive players we have bought in our history were
Berbatov (£30m)
Ferdinand (£29m)
Veron (£28m)
Rooney (£25.6m)
.... and...
You're right it wasnt a great performance but after last week's dissapointment, a win here was badly needed for confidence boost and keeping in touch with City.
From what I saw in the last 20 minutes, it looked like United tried to play it safe to hang on to the win and not send everyone forward, even Rooney dropped back which meant Berbatov was playing up on his own when he came on.
A win is a win and Goodison Park is a tough place to go to, sorry we weren't entertaining enough for you.
@neoragex
Didn't Rodwell get sent off in the first half in that match and Everton had to play with 10 men and Liverpool got the 2 goals with 20 minutes to go?
Everton are a good team but its obvious their struggling with injuries and financial issues.
What team has burned money like City? Seriously who? The last team that did that was Chelsea and got their glory thanks to it, City are doing the exact same.
And no shit City are playing well with their football, its cos their team is filled £30m superstars, they've never played like that in their history. When you spend £300m on a team, obviously they are going to eventually play well.
Have a look at your goalscorers today and tell me how much their worth, what City are doing is nothing like the way United have EARNED their success and money over decades.
'the fact is cash is whats needed for prizes'
Thats never used to be the case until City got unlimited money from an arab sugar daddy now every player seems to be worth £40m.
I refuse to believe that, I refuse to believe a team can just buy glory like the way City are doing, they only started outplaying us when Evans got sent off.
I despise them, heck I'd rather see Liverpool win the league than this lot.
Fireworks in the bathroom? I know he's stupid but I'm just... lost for words right now.
Anyone who is worth over £30m, the papers immediately link them to Chelsea and Man City.
Still can't believe a player like Hazard is worth £40m, how times have changed.
5 Premier League teams are owned by Americans? That makes me sick.
When he gets past Rio he is still on his feet, then he falls to the ground.
Yeah but not enough to go down like that, Adam knew Rio was on a yellow card so he deliberately tried to get him sent off.
If that was a Man Utd player, you would not be saying that so stop kidding yourself.
As far as I can remember, England's defence has always sucked (remember the Germany game?) so to see them defend well against the world champions is something to be proud of.
And anyway its not like we had a choice with Bent up front on his own for the first half and then Welbeck on his own in the 2nd half. I'm just pleased with the performance especially since alot of big players were missing.
