Good team in theory, probably horrible on the pitch since Messi and Ronaldo wouldn't connect well, but who knows, it's all in theory.
This would be good for the league.
I knew he HAD to have a wing-man. Good find. And I guess as football fans we all want to put labels in the sport; Best team in the world, best player in the world, best goalkeeper, etc.
Well I thought Fergie was a bit smarter...unless this is just over a rivalry.
The point that he is in England is irrelevant, "negro" means black. It would've been different if he said ni****. I don't care if he's in England, Holland, or France. His punishment should be reevaluated.
I'm waiting for somebody to talk crap about his international performance. I don't know about Pele, but I know Diego had a man who always assisted him in plays and complimented his playstyle. The only Argentine player at the moment who kinda does that is Angel de maria. Hard to score goals when you are practically playing as a midfielder creating plays for the other forwards.
Well it's not Guardiola's fault that even his younger players have an amazing talent. And RM has been at the top before and have lost their lead. Besides, their past results with Madrid show which is the better team.
Tello made some amazing plays, Cuenca I knew already but I didn't like the fact that he fell on purpose. This is practically Barca's youth team lol.
My thoughts exactly. I think they all just want to pound on their chest and call "racism" at the first sight of something they don't understand. I'm backing up Suarez for this one.
Wow, MANU are finally out of that weird funk they were in.
So easy to call somebody a diver when your favorite team's defense can't cope with him. He falls because Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, and other fools tackle the shit out of Barca players because they lack the skill to stop them cleanly.
Don't want Barca players to "dive", tell Real Madrid to get a better defense.
I'm not saying they should all learn, I was being a bit sarcastic because you just can't hand out punishments like these without understanding that for Suarez's background it's not a big deal. You and others keep saying "racism", but how do you even know what he meant? He just called somebody black, that's it. In order to combat racism you also have to be open-minded enough to understand different interpretations of a word in different backgrounds, not just yours...
With all due respect, I don't take a risk when saying it to any of my black friends in Spanish OR English.. In my culture it's fine to call somebody black because well..they are! It's not meant to be racist, it's almost the same as "hey man", or hey "blondie". Therefore, just because one man's slang was misunderstood, he should not be punished that bad. I don't know how he exactly meant it, I don't think anybody does except Suarez, but he doesn&...
I agree with krazykombatant for once, you can't just blame the man for speaking his native tongue and using a bit of slang. If you can't understand the way he meant it, why punish him? How about they all educate themselves about each other's backgrounds, I think Terry should too >_>
Chelsea aren't consistent enough, the league title is out of their hands this time.
At the moment, I just don't see Barcelona needing Neymar. I think they'll wait until he grows a bit more in terms of skill, discipline, and physique.
I still don't know why they would ban him for calling somebody "negro". There's nothing wrong with that in Latin America, and it shouldn't be seen as racist if you call somebody black. In many Spanish speaking countries it's either a slang or a casual phrase.
LOL is this really about Suarez calling somebody "negro"? How sensitive can people be! In my country we call people negro casually, hell sometimes they aren't even black and we call them negro or negra as a slang.
Please get off of your high chairs and educate yourselves a bit. A simple misunderstanding is just that, a misunderstanding.
Yup, he had such a performance, and Dani Alves played incredible aswell along the wing.
Well I guess, Ronaldo is passing a bit more anyway, but yeah never would happen.
