Roma earned a priceless 2-0 derby victory over rivals Lazio in Serie A thanks to a pair of Marco Borriello penalties in the second half.
The striker converted spot-kicks at either end of the second period, the first after a handball by Stephan Lichtsteiner and the second following a foul by Stefan Radu on Julio Baptista.

Roma is big enough club to compete for the first place every year, but it must not go several games before they get started.
