Spain were crowned European Champions last Sunday when they mauled hapless Italy 4-0 in the UEFA Euro 2012 final. Doing this they became the first side in history to successfully defend the European Championship. This was also their third consecutive triumph at a major tournament thus staking a claim to be acknowledged as the greatest national team in football history.

uruguay do stand an outside chance. ghana, i dont think so. african teams only do well one world cup at a time, example, 2010, ghana went far, 2006, but before that senegal went far. holland, they need to kick robben out asap if they intend going into the quarters/semis.
