Downing didn't do too bad today as LB, he made some pretty stupid dangerous passes but overall did his job. His goal was nice, glad he had the confidence to hit it
Assaidi is brilliant. Fielded a strong 11 and we needed to. Eto'o was isolated all game due to our brilliant defenders, Anzhi were never a threat. Suarez and Gerrard had a bad day today, but Sterling and Wisdom were excellent once again
I like this new Liverpool for playing all these young players. Sterling and Suso look like real talents.
