Was Nani red card justified ?

Defiantly a red card, nani thinks he's in the UFC.

Definitely yellow but not a red card. It wasn't intentional and if you look closely at the video, both players were already in mid-air.. nothing can be changed or done while both opposing players were in that position.

Bad call by the ref.

^^^You know how many times i have seen bycicle kicks to the head of an opposition player challenging for a 50/50 ball in football? So a foot to the head is ok but to the side of a player its life threatening. Dude, i recommend you actually start "watching" football before making stupid comments like that. Feet in the air in football is not uncommon, happens every game.
Mourinho stated in his post match interview that they were 2nd best to United and that United employed good tactics until the red which swung the game their way. I suggest you also do some research before making stupid claims that "United would have lost anyway".

OMG. I can't believe it. Its so ****ing simple. The Madrid players and staff was baffled by the red, half the stadium was baffled by the red, a dozen soccer pundits and some ex-referee's was baffled by the red.

Madrid didnt even celebrate the win, neither did their coach Mourinho.

What the **** does that all say?? Is that not enough evidence to come to the conclusion that this was a horrendously poor call from the ref. The reactions of the players and staff of both clubs after the game spoke volumes.

Jezus, one would think that in today's day and age you can just use plain old common sense but it seems it escapes most people today.

This sport will never be fair until game changing decisions can be reviewed. Red cards, penalties and controversial goals should all be reviewable.

It was a red card offence get over it, kompany got sent off in the fa cup against man u and he didn't even touch the player but thats ok because that decision favoured united.

I've seen at least 5 incidents since then which could have justified the same punishment and none were given as red cards, for most of them play just continued.

I suppose it doesn't help when it happens against play acting Spaniards in a tournament that Blatter and co. like the Spanish giants to get far in, he probably has wet dreams about an El Classico final and orders the officials to try to make it so.
