In light of the dangerous tackle by Wigan's Callum McManaman on Newcastle United's Massadio Haidara, Goal.com lists some other instances where players have made truly horrendous challenges during Premier League games.
Tackles like McManaman's take place every week all over the world, 99% of the time there is no contact and nobody bats an eyelid. Yes it was wreckless but he's really not done anything out of the ordinary, the only reason this incident is getting so much attention and vitriol is because it resulted in an injury.
The title should be Horrendous -_-
This is why I refuse to get too upset at Aaron Ramsey (unlike certain other players...).
God knows I'd be paranoid as phuq after that if it were me.
