Great ending. Absolutely happy with this result, now the semis will be tension filled, (that is if psg somehow win), I personally felt that if malaga went, it would be the closest thing to a free pass to the final. Now its setting itself up to be 4 amazing teams. To be honest I rather we drew barca yet again in the semis than anyone else.
I'm wondering if the linesmen were familiar with the term "offside" O.o That being said, it was truly a great match to watch and I'm glad Dortmund got through.
For the second Malaga goal, Eliseu is really stupid to kick the ball since it was going in anyway. Taking the chance to be offside (and he was) for no reason.
On the last Dortumund goal, this is brutal. 4 players offside at the beginning, then one more offside from Augusto (he's closer to the goal's line than the second last opponent, in this case the goalie). How can this even happen at that level?
I'm very happy for Dortumund and think they deserved to win, but it really shows that video reviews for offside when there is a goal should be implemented. Just allow the 4th referee to cancel the goal if he sees the offside in front of his screen within like 30 seconds of the goal. That wouldn't slow down the game.
I am fine with Madrid and Dortmund being in the semi finals but it does prove my point about needing a bit of luck and rub of the green to win major trophies.
Neither side would probably still be in the competition if it weren't for dubious reffing making key decisions that go heavily in their favour.
As far as im concerned i think if there is a scrum in front of the net like that why should there be offsides. Thats really punishment on the attacking team that needs to be taken away from the sport.
Yeah I kinda agree. I know it's not the rule,s but it should be. Although, in this case, the four Dortmund players being offside at the beginning of the play are really offside, no excuse there.
I do feel like Malaga going through would've been an easy semi final match for whoever drew against them... but that last goal was totally offside and I'm sure this has to sting for Malaga after everything they have done in their first ever CL
this match was epic. the comeback was awesome to watch. Offside goals on both sides. malagas second was offside as well. but irrespective of that, malaga couldn't hold the ball for 2 mins. i think thats what cost them the match. all that had to do from the center was hold on to the ball. barca style passing. they were through at 2-2.
Champions League referees need to brush up on the offside rule, it's embarrassing that the supposed pinnacle of European football has such poor officiating, they even have idiots with sticks behind each goal and still manage to do a worse job than the very worst Premier League referee.
What a comeback!

That last goal should never have stood but I'm glad dortmund got through all the same.
Great Game! good for dortmund
