a team worth millions cant score a single goal against a team which will be relegated. its not like wigans keeper was making save after save. city were terrible and deserved to lose.
Rubbish. Wigan fully deserved their win, NO argument with the City red, City were poor and the ref bottled a potential Wigan pen near the end as well!
Mcmanaman ripped City to shreds constantly and was the best player on the park. his running forced the red and the corner from which the goal came. He couldn't have been on the losing side he didn't deserve it. He had a dream final. All these big expensive City names fell flat on their faces, but he shone.
Well done Wigan- FULLY DESERVED.
The FA cup is still truly magical when it wants to be.
I for one am glad we've struggled in the CL, I've always hated Mancini and our quick exit give us another reason to sack him. We're guaranteed CL next season, finished either first or second the last 3 seasons, and struggled with injury this season.
You're getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the morning, sacked in the moooooooooorning, you're getting sacked in the morning!
Hahaha. Well played Wigan! City looked slow and were outpaced by Wigan for most of the match. City only really had 1 good attempt on goal which Joel beautifully kicked out Tevez's attempt. I'm kind of bummed that Wigan will be dismantled this summer but we'll see you guys at the Community Shield.
LMFAO!! well this was unexpected.... whats it 250million pounds cant beat a team thats in the bottom 3. LOLZ.....is mancini still going to be allowed to walk into the office tomorrow morning?
I dont think Mancini deserves the hate he is getting, I dont like him but in reality its easy to blame the manager for the horrible performance of the players. They just didnt play well.
That was a pathetic showing from City. No wonder they couldn't keep up with United in the title race. Looks like they will have to spend heavily again this summer. Mancini's days are numbered.
All they need is better management. Mancini is just poor and it would seem like he has no clue what to do with the pool of star players he spent those millions on. Less big name signings and good management and maybe one day City will be up there with United. While City has been spending almost half a billion dollars on players, United still have left over money from the Ronaldo sale. Ferguson will truly be missed. He knew how to please both the fans and the board with success despite the limited transfer funds.
White Pele? Lol that's the most ridiculous thing Iv'e heard all week. Rooney is a great player for us and all, but he's replaceable. He wants to leave because he's fallen lower down in the pecking order due to his poor performances and fitness troubles all season. United now have an enormous amount of squad depth. No starting spot is guaranteed under Ferguson. Rooney needs to see that he's not bigger than the club. If he wants to leave instead of attempting to improve his game next season at the club that made him who he is right now, I'll have no problem letting him go. We'll be fine. City on the other hand have much greater concerns on their plate.
That was soooo lucky I cant believe it.
Don't think luck had anything to do with it - Wigan outplayed them, and city thought they could jus turn up and win.
looks like Mancinci's finished - £300M transfer budget wasnt enough!
what a joke.
Magic! hahaha great stuff
Shame, best of luck to City next year...
