The Red Devils have struggled this season, with the Scot picking up unwanted record after unwanted record as his first season at Old Trafford continues on a downward curve
- United are guaranteed to finish the season with their lowest ever Premier League points tally - United's worst home league form for over a decade - Suffered three defeats in a row for the first time since 2001 this season - Eliminated in the FA Cup third round - something which happened just once under Ferguson - First ever home defeat to Swansea this term - First home defeat to Newcastle since 1972 - First home defeat to West Brom since 1978 - First league defeat to Stoke since 1984 - First time Man City & Liverpool have beaten United home & away since Premier League's inception - First time United have conceded a first minute goal in the Premier League, with Dzeko the scorer
This isn't a knock on you asmith, just a knock on the article.
- United are guaranteed to finish the season with their lowest ever Premier League points tally
This is record-breaking.
- United's worst home league form for over a decade
Not record-breaking.
- Suffered three defeats in a row for the first time since 2001 this season
Not record-breaking.
- Eliminated in the FA Cup third round - something which happened just once under Ferguson
Not record-breaking.
- First ever home defeat to Swansea this term
Not record-breaking.
- First home defeat to Newcastle since 1972
Not record-breaking.
- First home defeat to West Brom since 1978
Not record-breaking.
- First league defeat to Stoke since 1984
Not record-breaking.
- First time Man City & Liverpool have beaten United home & away since Premier League's inception
This is record-setting, but not record-breaking.
- First time United have conceded a first minute goal in the Premier League, with Dzeko the scorer
This is record-breaking.
If something is happening for the first time since <year>, you didn't break a record. You just did it for the first time since whenever it was done before.
These are all really horrible things, but hardly any of them are record-breaking or record-setting. Moyes tenure looks disastrous enough on its own demerits. Why does the author feel the need to over-dramatize them?
Way off topic: I ran out of bubbles in the goal line technology comment section so I'll answer to your last comment here ;D
First of all England didn't lose 4-0, Lampards goal would've been an 2-2 equaliser so it would've definitely been a damn important goal for England and probably changed the match. Euro 2012: Ukraine scored 1-1 equaliser against England that was disallowed. Ukraine lost 1-0 and was left out of the last 8.
You still keep talking about other situations like offsides and stuff. I agree that they are more frequent but it has nothing to do with goal cameras. There is no technology that could detect offsides with a 100% accuracy without stopping the game so it's different. This is what we have available right now.
Moyes must stay. He must be given more time and a lot of money to make his vision work. He needs at least 3 more years and a team built in his vision. Give the man a chance.
What vision exactly? The man has proven completely uncapable of managing a team like United. Comstantly making poor decisions, making up excuses and poor handling of players.
Some of the squad may be gettting old, but lets remember that this same squad won the PL last year by 11 points. Any decent manager would at least be in the top 4 with that team
And give him more momey?? Seriously? So we can have 5-6 more Fellainis?... No thanks
David Moyes - 'The Record Breaker'

We have been to worst places before just saying.
But one thing i will add though we did not lose are identity under Moyes hes wrecking the very soul off the club imo.
