The loss sucks, but with Barca's current issues it could've been worse. They are playing horribly, Martino just isn't the right coach, Messi once again did not show up, the injuries, the lack of another good CB, etc. But you gotta give Madrid credit, they have improved a lot since last year..congrats to the team and the fans.
For all their so called issues they are one point behind Madrid in the league and have a better goal difference. It's amazing what people consider to be a crisis at Barcelona.
Well that just makes Madrid look bad then. I mean, it doesn't matter what you wanna call it, crisis or not, but the legal issues are real, and they affect the players, not buying a good CB when you know Puyols is on his way out and Masherano is not really a CB is also a real issue.
It's an exeption this year that 3 teams are actually competing for the title buy any other year, it would be just them and Madrid. Being a point or 2 off the lead doesn't mean squat if the others are so weak!
What a way to get his first El Clasico goal! I remember a bunch of fans here were roasting Bale after his first Clasico. What really bothers me is Messi's performance! He wasn't even trying most of the match! Does he even wanna play? It's like he's lost interest in football.
I'm talkin about the match today. Yeah, he was brilliant at the Bernabeu, he was brilliant against City home/away. But today, he wasn't even trying for godsake. He just looked uninterested in the past 3 games. Simply walking around most of the match and not even tracking back. No matter how good/bad a player is, laziness should not be tolerated especially in a cup final. P.S.- I've always preferred him over CR7
It's so easy to shut down Barca these days. You shut down Messi and the whole team turn average! Just like how Bale carried the whole Spurs last year and now he's gone, there's nothing special about them anymore. That's a problem when a team is strategised around a single player. Sure Messi can still do his magic against weak teams but not against the good ones. That's the mistake City did as they let Messi had too much of the ball.
di maria looks like a keeper. really stepped up. bales goal was worthy of a winner. neymar will be looking back at that chance over and over and thinking how he couldve done it differently. messi was meh... lil action here, lil there. didnt seem to be trying much.
madrid dont always win classicos, but when they do, its for a trophy.
edit: must say the ref did a pretty good job. seen through all the diving and only produced cards when he had to and no incorrect sending offs. dont see that often in a classico.
Let's just hope they don't give Ramos holding the cup too much as god knows when he will throw it under their bus! LOL
But Bale does know how to fill in CR7's shoes when needed but Neymar? Meh...the scandallous transfer fee seems like a waste of money day by day now ha?
Haha earlier on in the season people on here were saying Neymar was miles better than Bale. That has thoroughly been disproved over the course of the season. Knew Bale would come good, he was injured at the start. Still don't think he can justify that price tag though lol
what a smexy goal from Bale!!!
hala madrid
hala madrid
hala madrid
congrats to all madrid fans :) we deserved it
yep you did. All the best in the CL gonna root for you guys.
Bale just justified his price tag with that goal xD
