Damn, oh well, I gotta congratulate Atletico for a game well played. We had a couple decent chances ourselves, and on the bright side, at least we weren't raped like Bayern were yesterday.
Easy to play well in Europe when you don't have to in your league as competition is so poor you can rest your players week in week out and you get breaks when you need them. This is just more proof of....
A. Mourinho is clearly over-rated B. Teams outside the PL get better treatment from there leagues when it comes to EU matches. C. La Liga is so weak outside the top few teams that teams can concentrate on Europe as that's there only income unless your Barca or Real Madrid.
It just shows that it's much harder to win when you are expected to take the game to the opponent. This is why I admire guys like Pep who win things playing attacking football.
Also, first final since 2007 that wont have either ManUtd or Bayern. Feels kinda weird...
Chelsea lost the tie when Adrian grabbed the equaliser. Gotta admit, two of the best teams in Europe are in the final now. Real will struggle unless their front three work together and make every chance count. They won't be getting as much space as they did against Bayern. Atleti just need to keep their belief.
Alonso is a huge miss for Real now. Atletico dominated the midfield tonight, as they usually do. They are unbeaten in the CL and both teams in the final have a win each and a draw against each other so far this season. It's going to be a great final.
Real won the semis in the Copa del Rey against Atlético by 5-0, don't think they need to worry too much. If Ronaldo, Bale and Di Maria are fit, it really is Real's to lose.
nothing to say? you replied to my comment brain dead troll...
torres scoring means nothing, the only facts that matter are 19 league goals in 3 years all while costing 50 mil
and just for you i will continue to critique torres until he leaves, i would love to say nothing about the man because hes doing well but if it hasn't happened in 3 years its not going to
Depends on what you mean by 'best'. Some people would equate 'most entertaining' with 'best'. Others would look at the top teams only, but that's unrealistic as it says nothing about the other 18 teams in the league.
One thing is certain - the money and talent is spread across a much wider group of teams in the EPL (and you could say Serie A). In comparison, if you look at Germany one team has it all, and Spain two teams (let's face it Atleti wont stay up there for long).
If you were to take the best players from the top 7 EPL teams and put them into only two teams you would end up with teams better than in other leagues. You know something is wrong with La Liga and Bundesliga when English Championship teams have bigger wage budgets than some of the smaller teams in those top leagues.
Agree with Altair, the EPL IS the best league in the world even if doesn't have the outright best teams.
You could argue that if EPL TV revenue was gobbled up by the big clubs like it is in Spain they would be able to buy better players and compete more with Europe's best, but that would damage the league as a whole.
EPL is the most popular league in the world from top to bottom, that's what makes it the best. English teams don't need the Champions League to get recognition like most of Europe's other teams.
Competition is so fierce in the PL that it is hard for an English team to get anywhere in Europe. even a team against a bottom league side affects you CL game as Pellegrini found out for City this season not taking the bottom teams seriously and dropping points where he shouldn't have. Thats the difference between leagues like the PL and La Liga. Which is why its much harder for English teams compared to Spanish teams.
Did they thank the fucking blind referee ? that bitch was supposed to give costa and toran a red card they where not playing clean football they where playing MMA match against Chealsea's players .
Football wins! Bring on the Madrid derby!
No bus, no party.

All Madrid final!!! La Liga rules the world of football again, yet again!
