Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton is set to join Fleetwood Town for pre-season training while Mark Hughes' side are on tour in Asia.
The controversial 29-year-old is due to join the League Two side after his behaviour in the QPR's last game of the season against Manchester City earned him a red card and left his future at the club in doubt.
After being excluded from Hughes' pre-season preparations and banned from the first third of QPR's campaign, there is a chance the 29-year-old could be loaned to Fleetwood until January, but manager Micky Mellon has refused to comment on the matter.
Wouldn't let the idiot play for a sunday league team.
