I think we can officially say that the "smaller" teams have gotten better now. Fulham giving Utd a right scare (finishing the stronger team as well); West Brom beating Liverpool last week and deservedly coming out of WHL with a point; Swansea scoring eight and conceding none in two matches (even though QPR and West Ham helped a lot by playing quite sh*t), just to name a few examples.
I think it's because the smaller teams have learned to shop abroad. The smaller teams in the prem used to just shop within England or Scotland, and occasionally did a loan from a big club. Wigan is the perfect example of a small club that shops abroad. Look at the players they had. Antonio Valencia, Rodsllega, Moses etc..small clubs would never be able to strike it rich like that hoping to find gems back home.

Slowly but surely, the times are a-changing.
AVB is on pole position for the first sack of the season IMO.
good job AVB
both the first lose and this draw have nothing to do with avb he played the best team.. unlucky should of scored a few more in the first halff...
I feel bad for AVB, I hope he will get better results cause he deserves it. People seem to forget pretty fast what he did with FC Porto...
