"But la liga teams aren't good enough" pssssssh here you go prime example la liga teams are doing just fine.

They are good, but let's be honest. AC Milan are far far away from a top team at the moment, just look at the Serie A table.

There is one reason as to why RM and Barca dominate they control spains TV airspace. Whilst leaving the rest with pathetic time. It doesn't help them when they finally grow a good player or two and teams from other nations (premiership) comes down and swoop them up.

Yeah Real and Barca are too much in control of TV time and that has led to a really big obscurity to the rest of the league. I'm also guilty of that, I usually just watch the clasicos, except for random times where there's nothing else on tv. The main reason is because I feel like many if not most of the spanish teams just give up on the match against Barca in particular, before it even starts. Against Real though I feel like they give it a little extra. In Europe though There are teams that may not play pretty, but they do have a go against them.

AC Milan are currently 15th in the Serie A. Malaga are currently 3rd

And here end's one of the strangest weeks in Champions League football I've ever seen. Guess things really are much more even now.

Is Platini's plan working?

I'm happy for Malaga, hope they continue their successful form.
