from experience those millions of $$$ are ether spent building those stadiums OR they'll just go to pockets of certain people ,anyone is an idiot to think that money not spent on stadiums will then go helping the needed .
It happens with any of these giant sporting events- Olympics, World Cup- massive funds go into the hands of a very few and all the talk of lifting up the host nation is just that, talk.
I have a feeling that more tragedy is going to happen at this WC, a few more deaths perhaps. FIFA are retards. Would love to see a British Isles World Cup. The UK and Ireland.
