They played better against Real. Sterling had a chance before Utd stuck two away in succession but just missed it. Up to that point Liverpool were on top. Liverpool need another striker for sure, Lambert hasn't look good in pre season.
This season is gonna be better than last. City and Chelsea are more likely going to get the top two CL spots. That leaves Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Everton scrapping it out for the last two spots, and all of them are looking good.
too soon to tell, but looks like united could finish in the top 4 if they keep playing like this.
Liverpool desperately need to find a quality striker, cant rely on Sturridge, he is injured too much.
