Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has said he is ready to take the final step in a long, hard season and claim the Liga title this weekend.
"We have the last step in a very demanding season and it will very hard, but we are full of enthusiasm and excitement,” he told Sport.
“We are hopeful that we will do it and that all the Barcelona fans can enjoy the day.”
Barcelona host relegation threatened Real Valladolid on the final day of the Liga season this weekend and know that a win will be enough to secure the club’s 20th Spanish league title.
