As recriminations follow after the failure of France at the 2010 World Cup finals, striker Thierry Henry has quickly distanced himself from the player revolt that represented the lowest point of the scandal that has now led to government intervention in French football.
The former Arsenal legend claimed that he had been “isolated” in the squad and that there was a “sickness” that pervaded the whole campaign.
