Verdict On Liverpool Case Expected At 10:30 a.m Wednesday

Liverpool owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks attempted to “frustrate” the sale of the club by changing the running of the board, a major creditor has told a High Court judge.

Richard Snowdon QC, who is representing the Royal Bank of Scotland, the bank whom Liverpool currently owe some £200 million to, said that the under-pressure duo had now admitted "a calculated breach of contract" by plotting to change the makeup of the board.
