Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is confident that team-mate Karim Benzema has the ability to be a success at the Bernabeu, despite the France striker's failure to establish himself as a regular starter since moving from Lyon.
Benzema's prolific form during his time at the Stade Gerland convinced Real to part with a reported £35 million to bring him to Spain in July 2009.
But after starting the first 12 games of the 2009-10 campaign, Benzema was dropped by former boss Manuel Pellegrini and never managed to regain his place as a regular starter ahead of preferred forwards Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He was dissapointing last season but i believe mourinho can motivate him and get him playing like he used to
Heis one of the most talented strikers around made a mistake going to real was brillant for Lyon
No young player should go to Real the team is just too crowded they never have enough chances to prove themselves.
